Couple other people I know here went up to Nordic/// they said it was fun, but the runs are very short. If you are up here near chicago, let me know... I will show you our local stuff. I am hoping to get up to kettle this weekend or go down to kickapoo... who knows? Chances are, I will be stuck around here doing the same old stuff.

na, its got alot of xc with slight FR stuff, mainly rock gardens. Great trails, but i would'nt drive all that way just for raccoon mtn, maybee if you did windrock too.

yo dude, there are a few really good fr spots and some cool backyard spots. As for dh there's really only one really good trail up in North GA. there's tons of decent xc single track around here (if you're into that kinda stuff)

just wanna see what i could get for it because i think i might want a bigger bike

We have a lot of really good single track in Palos forest Preserves and Swallow Cliff area... nothing as far as good DH stuff... mostly built for XC riding, but I can not complain /// I do not consider myself an XC'er more Freeride/DJ than anything. well once i sell my bighit frame im putting a 2009 dhx air 5.0 but it came with a romic its just gona be temp for a couple weeks

i would highly recomend the roco wc. its is superior to my old dhx 5.0. much more plush and an a mazing dh and fr shock. are you going to upgrade your fork

its pretty sick. theres alot of kona hate out there, but it rides amazing. dh is like a dream
